Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

TabTrade - What It Is

Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is not narrow.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural after using both.

FIX API is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would make the platform set when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker does not.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The execution is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Here is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But inform your decision.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
